Alkaline β-Mannanase

Alkaline β-mannanase is made by submerged fermentation and purification technique. It can break internal β-1,4-glycosidic bonds of mannan, has strong performance of catalyzing and gel breaking for fracturing fluid, high stability and security, is a kind of high efficiency and non pollution biotechnology product and be widely used in the field of oil exploitation.

Action Mechanism

The common fracturing fluid for oil exploitation are Guar gum, Fenugreek gum, konjac gum, sesbania gum etc., which are polysaccharide composed of galactose and mannose. Enzyme gel breaker contains β-1,4 glycosidic bond specific hydrolase, which can hydrolysis guar gum polymer galactomannan into nonreducing monosaccharide and disaccharide. In addition, using this product can reduce fracturing fluid viscosity, improve the flowback rate, reduce the damage to formation permeability and increase oil fracture efficiency, meanwhile has a protective effect on formation and surrounding environment.

One unit (U) of mannanase is defined as the quantity of enzyme, which oxidize 1.0μmol of reducing sugar(mannose) per minute at 70℃, pH9.0.

Shelf Life & Storage

25℃, 12 months, enzyme activity remain≥90%. For long term storage, we recommend below 5 ℃ refrigerator. Increase dosage after shelf life.
